Q: What inspired you to join HKN?

I joined HKN because I felt it would be a great opportunity to network with professionals and excellent peers in engineering. I also felt that many of the requirements needed as a pledge would help with my personal and professional development. Many of my friends are also part of HKN, which served as a nice bonus in joining.

Q: Where is your hometown and favorite place on island?

My hometown is the Republic of Palau, but my favorite place on the island would be the 9Bar HNL cafe at SALT At Our Kaka’ako. Whether to lock in or relax, I have fond memories of that cafe and visit there when I need to do either and have a nice time.

Q: What video game / movie / TV show would you want to live in and why?

I think it would be the world portrayed in the Fallout series - the Pre-War world of course. The quality of life portrayed prior to the nuclear war in that world looked wonderful, and I think it would be nice to live there if no such war had occurred.

Q: What would you like to accomplish the most from your “bucket” list?

I would like to visit the headquarters of Ableton AG in Berlin, Germany. That company develops and maintains my audio software of choice, and it’s thanks to their software that I chose to pursue my current major.
