Q: What Inspired You to Join HKN?

To make new friends! I appreciate how people bring the “spice” to my daily life as an engineering student, making my experience here more vibrant. Joining HKN has been a fantastic way to connect with others!

Q: Where is your hometown and favorite place on the island?

My hometown is Oahu, Honolulu. My favorite place is Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve because I use to go snorkeling there with my family almost every week growing up.

Q: What video game / movie / TV show would you want to live in and why?

Stardew valley or Minecraft. I just want to build houses for my friends and go on a bunch of side quests with no real “goal” in mind.

Q: What would you like to accomplish the most from your “bucket” list?

I want to become proficient in sewing and tailoring, aiming to attend more school events focused on fashion since I’m often on campus and I know clubs like this exist! My goal is to be “that girl” whom people turn to when they have wardrobe dilemmas—like someone saying, “I bought these pants that are two sizes too big; I wish I knew someone who could help.” I believe knowing how to sew is an underrated skill, and if my dad can do it, so can I!
