Q: What Inspired You to Join HKN?

I joined HKN because I thought it would be a good opportunity to meet other engineers and make connections. Also, a few of my friends were going to join HKN so I wanted to be with them.

Q: Where is your hometown and favorite place on the island?

My hometown is Honolulu and my favorite place on the island is my home - it’s nice to relax at home after a long day of work.

Q: What video game / movie / TV show would you want to live in and why?

I would want to live in one of the Roller Coaster Tycoon games (assuming whoever runs the theme park isn’t trying to kill their guests.) I love roller coasters and I’d like to be a perpetual guest in a constantly-expanding theme park, only ever needing to think about what ride I’ll go on next.

Q: What would you like to accomplish the most from your “bucket” list?

I have a list of piano pieces I want to learn over the course of my life. I’d like to get to the end of that list. Some of my favorite pieces on it are Chopin’s Ballade in G Minor and Scriabin’s Fantasy in B Minor.
